Contact
The simplest way to reach us is by email at team@cyclecharlotte.org. The form on this page does the same job: it opens your own email program with a prepared message, so nothing is stored on our side until you decide to send it.
What we love to hear about
- Corrections. If a fact has changed, a step is missing or a link no longer works, tell us. Please include the page address and the passage you mean.
- Topic ideas. A question you could not find a straight answer to is often the start of a good article. The cycling guides on cleaning a bike chain and setting your seat height both began that way.
- Your own experience. A tip from a reader who has tried something in real life is worth a lot. If we use it, we will ask how you would like to be credited, if at all.
What we cannot help with
We are a small editorial team, not a shop, service provider or help desk. We cannot:
- handle orders, refunds or account problems for companies mentioned in our articles;
- give personal medical, legal, financial or mechanical advice;
- recommend unlicensed streaming services or help get around regional restrictions.
For those, the company involved or a qualified professional is the right contact.
What to expect
All four writers, introduced on Who Writes Here, share one inbox. We read everything, though replies can take a few days when the week is busy. Corrections are dealt with first. If you have not heard back and your message was urgent, a short follow-up is perfectly fine.
A note on your details
Please leave passwords, account numbers and identity documents out of your messages. We never need them. Your email address is used only to reply to you, and you can read more about how we treat messages on Your Privacy.
Writing about a cycling guide?
If your message is about one of our bike articles, it helps to mention the type of bike you ride and what you tried already. We cannot diagnose a problem from a distance, but the detail lets us see whether a step in the guide needs to be clearer.
Before you write
Many common questions, from how we choose topics to why some articles name businesses, are already answered on What Readers Ask. It may save you a wait.
Good to know
How your message is handled
Every email lands in one inbox that all four writers check. Corrections go to the top of the pile, topic ideas are noted on a shared list, and questions get an answer as soon as one of us has a moment.
Please never include passwords, card numbers or identity documents. We have no use for them and delete anything sensitive that arrives by accident.

Quick answers
Questions people ask before writing
A few things that may save you an email.
Can you sort out a problem with my order or subscription?
No. We are writers, not a retailer or service provider, so the company you bought from is the right place to ask.
Will you look at my bike and tell me what is wrong?
We cannot diagnose a bike from a description. Anything involving brakes, steering or the frame belongs with a qualified mechanic.
Can I suggest a series, film or destination?
Please do. Tell us what you enjoyed and why, and it may turn into an article.
Who writes the articles?
The Cycle Charlotte team. Where a post names a shop, service or brand, take it as a lead to check, not a seal of approval.
